I am also writing/Illustrating Several Books: Family Lore, about all the Weird Stuff that happens to me and my family. Seattle Bites which is about Queer Cryptids fighting a fictional version of everyone’s least favorite online retailer, and some illustrated childrens books for my Botanical Illustration Degree.
I suffer from an overlapping clusterfuck of mental and physical illness (ADHD, Depression, C-PTSD, Anxiety, Migraines, PCOS, Bone Spurs and a suspected dietary allergy but we don’t know WHAT yet) that make conventional employment difficult for me. So I am EXTREMELY Grateful to everyone who donates to my Ko-Fi or Paypal. You guys pay for my groceries and make the stories happen, and I am so, so thankful.

“You Have An Unorthodox Approach to Spelling Sometimes.”
I have a minor reading disorder (probably a function of ADHD) and taught myself to type, and tumblr doesn’t have a spellchecker. I consistently misspell “Thier” and “Becuase” and probably won’t improve anytime soon. It’s OK, language is made up anyway.
“Can we be friends?”
Sure! In fact, we are already friends, friendly person. Feel free to ask questions and tag me in stuff.
“Did you hear about issue X?”
Yes I did. I’m an adult who reads the news, votes in all their elections and calls their representatives. I don’t talk about it here becuase this is my chill space. Working and being A Responsible Citizen is hard and I just want to talk fandom and look at cat videos for a while sometimes. Please respect my boundaries.
“Can You Promote My Art Sale/GoFundMe/Lost Cat Post?”
Maybe. I try to help where I can, but there are people who use such posts for trouble (I’m thinking of abusers creating “This person is Lost!” posts to stalk people, and that time I got my identity stolen on a false gofundme) so I review everyone on a case-by case basis.
“Can you tag for X?”
I totally understand triggers and will try my best to tag for them, but I also have a really bad memory. So I’m willing to tag, but if I slip up more than you can handle, feel free to unfollow me. Your health always comes first.
